As we begin an exciting phase of growth, we are seeking a highly motivated GIS Specialist to join our team.

What will you be doing?

• Develop, test, debug and maintain an array of custom web-based GIS applications, tools, and supporting web services.
• Develop software in an agile development process by working with stakeholders to refine developed products.
• Provide support, troubleshooting, modifications, enhancements, and maintenance for existing GIS applications, scripts, tools, and web services.
• Create and maintain system-related documentation.

You are a good fit, if you have:

• Experience in developing and maintaining custom web-based GIS applications, tools, and supporting web services;
• Experience with GIS tools like GeoServer, QGIS, PostGIS, OpenLayers, potree, or alternatives;
• A good understanding of spatial data projections and transformations;
• Proficiency in geodatabase management, specifically PostgreSQL and PostGIS;
• Proficiency in using Python libraries for geospatial data processing and manipulation;
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, geography, or related field.
